Quick Tips for Basic Island Spring Tofu use:

Island Spring Tofu can be used as a substitute in many recipes. Tofu can replace meats, cheeses, and cut down use of eggs. Tofu will take on any flavor that it is mixed with.

Delicious Steamed Tofu can be eaten just as it comes from the package, or it can be heated. It can be used with sautéed vegetables, sliced cold into salads, or served in its own sauce.

Tofu Chef's Salad:
Add julienne strips of Delicious Steamed Tofu to your favorite salad.

Hot Delicious Steamed Tofu Sandwich:
Broil slices of Delicious Steamed Tofu until hot.
Serve on whole wheat bread. If desired, add cheese slices while under the broiler.

Hors d'oeuvres:
Serve cold from package on wheat crackers.
Serve hot (broiled or sautéed) on corn chips.

Mayonnaise
1 cup Island Spring Organic Silken Firm Tofu
1 clove of garlic, minced
1/3 cup salad oil
1/4 tsp salt

Blend all ingredients together in a food processor or blender, until smooth.
Chill and serve on potatoes, as a dip for vegetables or anywhere you would use mayonnaise or sour cream.
For flavor variety, add basil pesto, mustard or horseradish.
